My only hope is that I would marry someone who treats me the way Michael treated Angel. This movie made me feel seen and heard and I am on so grateful. In fact, I think it’s very rare for a Christian movie to even display trauma in this way but I greatly appreciated it. In fact, as a narcissistic abuse survivor, I believe this movie is one of my favorites because it clearly shows the effects trauma can have on someone else’s life.
